I don't have a lot of expertise in regards to Chipstep, but your track does sound similar to modern Hardstyle and euro Handsup trance. You have rolling bass coming in from the track and start off a very pleasant melody- with claps/snare coming in on queue. There is a missed opportunity to change up the track before the kicks, and a small space to allow for anticipation- but the repeating note before the kick saves it. About 1:47 you have an off-beat kick to make it feel like we should go into a off-beat as some hardstyle tracks, but then we go back to the normal beat. Finishing smartly on some sequence notes and percussion.

Overall, it was great to listen to! Good job! :)

Thanks for the great review! Chiptune isn't my expertise either but it was nice to learn how the percussion can be made. I'd love to remake this track in a more modern style in the future

Needs a bit more mastering to hear the other instruments. But you certainly have the beat down that is for sure! :) Keep improving.

Interesting lead. Certainly does flow. The second set of leads that come in are a bit confusing and out of tune. Good work though! Keep it up!

Infiks responds:

Thanks) This first my work in genre edm)

Different yes! Good bass. An okay Gravity-ish kick. I hear near the middle we begin to gate the pad/chord which is good. I think chopping up the lead a bit to allow for more choices in the melody as you go down further into the song would be the part I would work on. Good work! :)

Positron832 responds:

Thank you! Perhaps chopping up the lead could've lead to a more interesting development in the song now that you mention it. Thanks for the other insight as well :)

Very nice. I really want to take those notes and jam them through my Serum synth. Good work! :)
