On a note with mixes... you kinda want to keep the beat going by harmonizing and keeping things in key. There is really no need to space things out like you've done in this track. Keep this in mind when you do get to making your own music. There is lots of tutorials on youtube on how to make electronic music with popular programs like Ableton and FL Studio. I wish you good luck in your musical journey. :)

If you are using FL 20, the FLEX vst should already be installed and there is a "essential guitars" package available. There is also a essential bass guitar one as well :))

Give that a try and see if that sounds better. :)
